ITV show collaborates with Jacuzzi® & Wensum Pools to create a garden fit for a hero
Well known hot tub company Jacuzzi UK has just been featured in the Tuesday 24th July episode of ITV’s 'Love Your Garden' along with approved Jacuzzi® hot tub dealer Wensum Pools.

The 8pm prime time show, presented by Alan Titchmarsh, returned for a second series this summer and looks like it will be a real winner. This year the gardens of truly deserving people will be given a makeover that they could never have dreamed of, the team and the local community coming together to create inspirational gardens for inspirational people.

The collaboration with Jacuzzi UK and Wensum Pools came about through a working relationship with David Domoney, who is also co presenter on the show and resident gardening expert. Jacuzzi UK have for the last two years collaborated with David at RHS Hampton Court to great success, both in educating the nations horticulturists about the benefits of hydrotherapy and how they can be landscaped into a garden to transform life outside and within.

Series producers contacted Jacuzzi UK about the Costello family who they felt could benefit from their help. Ian Costello is a young soldier returned to his wife and three children from Afghanistan where he had received multiple injuries from being blown up on active duty.

He spends an inordinate amount of time in his bath as this is the only way he feels relief from the pain during his recovery process, however this time whilst soothing takes him away from his family.

His physiotherapist had said that a hot tub would be of enormous benefit for him not only for his own recovery but also to support his desire to engage fully with his family.

Jacuzzi UK discussed his specific needs and decided upon the J335 as the perfect tub to support his recovery from his injuries. The J335 features 5 hydrotherapy stations including a lounge seat and an MX10 therapy seat. Jacuzzi consider this model to be one of their best recovery focused tubs, the transition seat and easy to reach control pad complete this model’s recovery credentials.

All Jacuzzi® Hot Tubs and Whirlpool Baths are designed around the optimal jet formation, position of jets and shaping of the product around the jets is critical to providing an all-over invigorating and therapeutic hydromassage.

Once the tub was agreed Jacuzzi UK handed over to their partners Wensum Pools who were more than happy to support this worthy cause. Wensum Pools are a family run business who have been serving the Norfolk region for over 35 years with enormous experience in swimming pool and hot tub supply, installation and servicing. They worked with the production team and garden designers to ensure appropriate access and groundwork was arranged so that the fit could run smoothly. The fit involved a crane to lift over the house and Wensum team members were on hand to see the installation and commissioning of the tub through to the production teams satisfaction. They will remain in contact with the family to support on service and maintenance of the hot tub ongoing.

Love Your Garden has been a proud moment in collaboration for both Jacuzzi UK and Wensum Pools and the company hope that the episode will not only reassure people that a hot tub can form a part of a garden, but that it will also educate on the benefits of hydrotherapy and how it can enable people to lead an active life.
