Alukov’s OMEGA Enclosure Increases Pool Use Whatever The Weather
With uncertainty surrounding travel this year, more people in the UK are looking to utilise their own garden spaces as much as possible and for both existing or new pool installations, maximising the amount of time for swimming has become an urgent priority.
Increasing the usability of outdoors spaces for a variety of uses is something that enclosure specialists Alukov UK know all about and the company have remained open throughout the Coronavirus outbreak. Last year, they were approached by a female client with health issues, whose doctor had recommended regular, swimming exercises that may help to improve a specific health condition.
The Essex-based client already owned a swimming pool, but because it was quite a long distance from her house, she was often reluctant to go into the back garden to use it – something that was especially true during poor weather.
After consulting with Alukov UK, a telescopic OMEGA enclosure was installed in December 2019. It was delivered fully assembled from Alukov factory in the Czech Republic and installation took approximately 7 hours. The fitting and communication throughout was effortless and seamless, and the site was left clean and tidy after the installation.
Commenting on the installation, the client said: “It has, without any doubt, changed the way we all use the pool. I am now swimming everyday, no matter what weather, which is really fantastic. I especially love that it is lovely and warm inside the enclosure when I am getting in and drying off after my swim, even if it is nippy or windy outside.
“We have got quite a large family and being able to sit out of the breeze or sun while watching our children and grandchildren swimming is also really comfortable and being able to open up different segments depending on the outside conditions is really handy.
“Also being able to have the hot tub inside is ideal as well. Watching children to splash in the pool, while having relaxing time inside the hot tub, quite often with glass of Prosecco, is a dream come true!
“To sum it all up, the enclosure was a fantastic investment in our health and wellbeing and 100% worth it. Many thanks for a good job well done.”
