New moving floor for new and existing domestic pools
Pink Floor by Bluewood is an easy to install moving pool floor aimed at the domestic pool market. Having recently been demonstrated at the Piscine exhibition in Lyon, the innovative product is now available in the UK.
Designed for both existing and new pool builds (that feature vertical walls) and compatible with all pool linings, the mobile floor consists of a set of hollow drilled and cross braced beams which are not attached or fixed to any other parts of the pool.
The system is operated by air cylinders, meaning there are no cables, no dry pit, electric motors or hydraulic systems to worry about. Using just a few grammes of air pressure, it lifts or descends to different selected heights. Stabilisation at is achieved through the deployment of supporting braces which are effectively legs embedded on the underside of the movable floor.
The product’s frame is made from a non corrodible resin reinforced polyester frame which benefits from a ten year warranty. The legs are also made from the same material and are fixed on the underside of the moving floor and operated by programmed ‘marine quality’ cylinder jacks.
Pink Floor has a maximum deck weight of a standard 150kg/m sqd and is insulated against heat and humidity a lateral seal ensures a contamination free and clean pool.
