SPATEX Moves Up A Gear
With less than five months to go, preparations for the SPATEX 2014 Technical Programme, organised by the ISPE, are almost complete. There will be a whole new look to the content of the programme to mark the Exhibition’s move to its new venue at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena.
Twenty five Workshop sessions are planned over three days (Sunday 2 to Tuesday 4 February) and there will be a minimum of fifteen new sessions. All sessions on the Tuesday will be aimed specifically at Pool Operators (leisure clubs, health clubs, holiday parks and hotels etc.) and there will be a number of sessions on the Sunday and Monday aimed at this sector too.
Many people who work in the pool industry are involved with water testing in varying degrees. With numerous sessions looking at different aspects of water treatment, including water testing, different types of treatment and pool water management, there will be something for everyone.
Two special sessions have been confirmed which will be of particular interest to visitors: One will look at the new Electrical Requirements for pools, spas and saunas and another will look at the types of insurance a pool company should consider.
With further sessions in the planning stage (further details are to be revealed soon), if you ever needed a reason to go to Coventry, SPATEX 2014 is surely it.
