SPN Magazine Just Became Even More Accessible!
Back in December 2007, Swimming Pool News (SPN) was the first Wet Leisure Industry trade title to offer its readers an online ‘digital’ edition of its publications. Since then, every edition has been available as a virtual magazine that is accessible 24/7 via the ‘archive’ section on the SPN website, with the only limitation being that some devices were not supported.
Now SPN is proud to announce another first. Starting from the February 2016 edition, all subsequent issues will enjoy accessibility from any device. So regardless of whether a user is viewing pages of the new digital editions using a desktop, laptop, tablet or smart phone and irrespective of operating system, digital access to each and every issue of SPN is now on offer.
Speaking about the development, Co Publisher and Editor Jon Wadeson said: "We’ve always wanted an virtual magazine that was accessible for all, especially as more and more people are using tablets and smartphones to access online content. Sadly, until recently, the technology and costs were prohibitive.
"After testing a number of options over the last few months though, we decided to move forward with a new solution from ISSUU and we’re really happy with it and how the magazine is presented to readers. The flexibility offered and perhaps more importantly the accessibility it provides means that anyone wishing to read a digital version of SPN online now can and the magazine looks great across all devices that we’ve tested.
Co Publisher and Sales Director Tony Weston added: "The change not only benefits existing and potential readers, but our advertisers too and it’s the first of a number of enhancements that we have been working on behind the scenes which will further strengthen the SPN brand in 2016."
