London 2012 Olympic Games ticket prices revealed
Ticket prices for the London 2012 Olympic Games have just been revealed. To make sure the venues are filled with enthusiastic sports fans, the pricing strategy has been designed to include a wide range of ticket prices. Also there will now be up to 8.8 million tickets available for the Olympic Games, an increase of 800,000 from the figure previously announced.
For events specifically centred around the Aquatics Centre, ticket prices are as follows:
Swimming
Preliminary: £20-£150 – Final: £50-£450
Synchronised Swimming
Preliminary: £20-£95 – Final: £30-£175
Diving
Preliminary: £20-£175 – Final: £30-£450
There are also special prices for young people and seniors across all of the above sports but only for the preliminary rounds in each event. Young people who are 16 years old or younger (at 27 July 2012) will pay their age for a ticket. Seniors aged 60 and over (at 27 July 2012) will pay £16.
The price of a ticket for a wheelchair space includes a companion seat located next to it.
The full breakdown of ticket prices for each Olympic sport is shown below. All ticket prices will provide a great Games experience.
Olympic Games tickets do not go on sale until March 2011 but you can register your interest in advance at www.tickets.london2012.com
